tu mirada envuelvo en papel de caramelo si me sonríes;

NOBODY ASKED ME

Abandoned like a broken branch in the tree

of the future, a shadow descends the river banks

no lips. And it plays in the tiny jumps of the water, there

where skin and cloth of work are the only lifeline

in its destiny of prey for the fangs of the beaver.

Nobody asked me,

I jumped into the water to study her body

and it turned out to be a hazelnut cane that the summer storm

pulled up among shadows to the night with a furtive melody.

Nobody asked me. I say and lie.

I didn't want to save my reputation as lucky in the game,

nor dive in the swamps of I can't.

In the neighbourhood, you quickly learn the bargaining lingo:

carelessly, a penny per soul, I sell you by weight or

I wrap your gaze in candy paper if you smile at me;

from the waist I can declaim dark verses

tonight and if you stop the time of my mouth

in your breasts,

I jump the bench for a bouquet of seventeen red roses

ripped from the tablecloth.

The wound seeks air before to consecrate itself thorn

of the stem fallen . It draws to an end and memorizes the verbs

however none leaves the taste of kisses,

that point and aside that every night dreams and forgets,

on your neck.

Nobody asked me.

Now three women cross on the bridge of life

three shadows of love converse leaning on the wall

their delirium of bread and fish in freedom

for the birds of the final secret.

Firm your muscles in the game,

I play with the marked cards.

Nobody asked me

this time the horse neighs victorious in the stable.
